Dr. Monoseta Covington-Burwell
Dr. Monoseta Covington-Burwell graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education to complete a 1-year General Practice Residency and a 3-year Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. When she did, she became the first female Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon in Pennsylvania. Upon returning to Michigan, she decided to have a General Practice which allowed her to do every area of Dentistry. Dr. Burwell is a wife to Retired Senior Pastor Bruce Burwell, and mother to Chera Burwell who has her master’s in Finance. About 20 years ago while practicing in her Dental Practice full time, she was called into the ministry and became a Pastor. She helped her husband start their own church, Light of the World Christian Center in W. Bloomfield Michigan. Due to his health, they retired from the ministry. Now as she looks back, she thanks God for the strength to be a wife, mother and do both Dentistry and Ministry with excellence. Dr. Burwell never missed a beat. As a matter of fact, she loves being busy. Last July 2021, she published her second book, “End Times In-A-Snap” with the publishing arm of TBN, Trilogy. Most of which was completed while the Dental offices were in the COVID shut down.
